Electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) often contains hazardous components and substances which can be damaging to the environment and may have negative effects on human health when they become waste (WEEE). There is a Producer Responsibility Initiative (PRI) in place in Ireland to fund the recycling and safe disposal of these products. Recycling rather than dumping means valuable components can be used again in new products and there will be less mining of raw materials. We take back batteries and like for like electrical items and dispose of them on your behalf according to the regulations.
