The updated SOLO model of the Personal Straw boasts an even lighter weight of 48g compared to the original's 65g. It also includes a secure top cap and screw on/off bottom cap that doubles as a clip point. The 28mm threads are compatible with commonly available drink bottles, allowing for easy "scoop and drink" convenience. Cleaning is made simple with the supplied syringe, eliminating the need for blowing out the filter. The filter itself offers exceptional performance, removing 99.999999% of bacteria (log8 reduction), 99.999% of parasites (log 5 reduction), and 99.999% of micro plastics (log 5 reduction), as well as silt, sand, and cloudiness larger than 0.2 microns.
