This pack is speedy, light, and sustainable thanks to Deuter's Lite back system, ergonomic, perforated shoulder straps, a detachable waist belt, a precision-adjustable sternum strap, and 100% recycled bluesign® certified body fabric. Designed for fast-paced hiking, side compression straps effectively reduce load wobble and enable a full range of movement. This helps save energy over longer distances too.

Deuter's light backpacks for endurance sports and alpine day tours are reduced to the bare minimum. They are ideal for carrying light to medium loads (depending on volume). Lightness doesn’t mean having to compromise on robustness!
 
Ergonomic Fit
 
The ergonomic shape of the back padding gently hugs the back and ventilation channels generate good airflow. The trapezoid-shaped lumbar pad ensures the load is spread evenly across the musculoskeletal system and allows the pelvis to move freely.

Its lightweight construction, lightweight materials, the Deuter Lite back system and pared-down features combine to make the Speed Lite a featherweight in the hiking category (26 L model just 732 g). That means you can put more energy into the trail and less into carrying the load.

Sustainable and resource-saving: our main material yarn is made from 100% recycled industrial waste and certified to recognized standards.

PFC FREE

This Deuter product is free of per & polyfluorinated chemicals. Deuter thus reduces the use of environmentally harmful substances that pollute the environment and health. PFC is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water-, dirt- and grease-repellent properties. Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation that is harmless to health and the environment.
