With an A/B Vibram sole unit for flexibility, a GoreTex liner for waterproofness and the Meindl Comfort Fit last for roominess, the Meindl Terlan GTX hiking boot is an excellent boot for rolling hills plus tracks and trails too. Perfect for the wider footed hiker and excellent for long-distance waymarked trails plus the likes of the Camino, this boot delivers day after day and is easy to care for and maintain.

The Meindl Terlan GTX walking boot is a boot suitable for people with wider feet. Being part of Meindl’s Comfort-Fit range it offers excellent support and a natural relaxed fit. The uppers are made from suede and mesh providing a lightweight yet supportive boot. The addition of a GORE-TEX lining ensures that the boot is waterproof and durable in all weather conditions. A rubber rand protects against abrasion on rougher terrain. The footbed is extra comfortable made from cork with a wider surface area at the front of the boot. This allows for more movement and support as the foot, particularly the toes, can sit comfortablly. With a fleece covering this footbed guarantees stability and unbeatable comfort. The Terlan GTX boasts a Meindl Multigrip (by Vibram) sole with EVA shock absorber meaning reduced impact and lots of cushioning. The Terlan GTX is perfect for hill-walking if you have a wider foot.

This category blends the two either side of it – A and B – meaning that these boots are suitable for both leisure and hill walking. They can stride out on footpaths and lower level hills. The main difference between these boots and those in category B is that these boots are more flexible and slightly softer in the upper.
